Woke karaoke takes the joy out of Christmas

Depressing news from a friend, who says his workplace Christmas karaoke ended in soul searching and finger pointing after some people sang the N word, during a rap by a black artist (who presumably hadn't been forced to use that word against his own free will).

My friend says this caused a storm the next day in the "allies" ie sycophants thread, with a suggestion (by the young pronoun botherers, as he calls them) that next year everyone wears name badges so presumably it will be easy for the thought police to identify the guilty afterwards if it's videoed. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that there won't be a karaoke next Christmas. What do you think?

Goes again to prove that when we worry about woke politicians, it's actually woke business and charity leaders who are the bigger, more widespread, more ingrained problem. Still, this one does at least have a happy ending.

Science Museum removes trans-inclusive display after ‘propaganda’ complaints

The Science Museum (in London) has dismantled a trans-inclusive display following complaints it was pushing “propaganda” and not biology.

A cabinet titled Boy Or Girl? displayed quotes describing the transition from the “wrong body” as a “hero’s journey”, and labels characterising gender as something “difficult to define” which “may not match your biological sex”.

The display which featured a fake penis and chest-binding equipment has been taken down by the museum following complaints the information provided was “not science, but propaganda”.

Complaints were lodged by Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, who wrote to the museum’s chairman Sir Ian Blatchford to argue that the display “promotes social and medical transition in a way that is not neutral”.
